GenoLogics is a privately held company founded in 2001. In January 2005, GenoLogics completed a $5 million (U.S.) Series A round of financing with OVP Venture Partners, Growthworks, and Yaletown Venture Partners. This injection of capital allowed the company to significantly accelerate its product development, sales, marketing and other corporate initiatives.

In October 2006, GenoLogics completed a second round of financing led by OVP Venture Partners in Seattle, along with Vancouver, BC based Growth Works and Yaletown Venture Partners. This financing round allowed the Company to accelerate its systems biology market penetration strategy and introduce our latest product, Geneus™, which is targeted at the genomics market. These new initiatives more than double the Company’s market opportunity over the next few years.

Over its 22 year history as an early-stage venture firm, OVP has been funding industry leading start-ups in the Pacific Northwest. The firm currently has US $500 million in capital under management.
