August 5, 2008 -  Windber Research Institute has selected GenoLogics to collaborate on developing an integrated biomedical informatics software solution. Windber Research Institute's primary focus is improving patient care and quality of life by rapidly translating molecular and clinical research into action. The Institute conducts translational research to identify clinical issues that confront physicians and moves these issues to the laboratory for application of advanced molecular and informatics approaches. July 30, 2008 - GenoLogics is working with the University of Nevada's Proteomics Center to deploy its lab and scientific data management system. The Nevada Proteomics Center provides high quality, high-throughput, cost-efficient proteomic and metabolomic services to researchers in Nevada, including mass spectral analyses for small molecules and Edman protein sequencing. The Nevada Proteomics Core receives financial support from Nevada INBRE, a program sponsored by the National Institutes of Health. July 1, 2008 - The University of Texas, Health Sciences Center - Houston (UTHSC-H) has selected GenoLogics to provide an informatics solution to support its clinical and translational research initiative. The University of Texas Health Sciences Center - Houston is partnering with The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center and the Memorial Hermann Hospital System to conduct research under the newly formed Center for Clinical and Translational Sciences. Read more

June 9, 2008 - GenoLogics announced the new release of its lab and data management system for genomics research, Geneus 4.0, with many new enhancements including the ability to handle NextGen sequencing workflows. Geneus increases the productivity of genomic research laboratories challenged with managing large amounts of data. The solution is preconfigured to address genomic workflows, including NextGen sequencing, and delivers advanced querying and reporting capabilities along with a secure web interface to facilitate collaboration. May 19, 2008 - Genologics launches new Biomedical Informatics Software Solution. The Biomedical Informatics product suite as part of its holistic approach to providing translational research informatics solutions. The new product suite includes functionality to track observational studies, collect patient data electronically, provide biospecimen and clinical annotations management and allow researchers to query online. The suite is comprised of five integrated products, three of which are being deployed this year with the collaboration of early access customers. Read more

May 19, 2008 - Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center Chooses GenoLogics to Collaborate on Developing a Biomedical Informatics Solution. The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center has selected GenoLogics to collaborate with the company to develop an integrated biorepository and biomedical informatics software solution for the Center's Translational and Outcomes Research group.  The GenoLogics software is being provided to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center by the Canary Foundation, a nonprofit, tax exempt public charity committed to the development of early-detection tests for solid-tumor cancers.
