Illumina BeadArray Workflow Data Management
Geneus enables end-to-end data management and sample tracking for Illumina BeadArray workflows for a host of applications, including gene expression and genotyping. Geneus bridges the gap between sample and clinical information by exporting the sample annotations into BeadStudio so that this information is available during analysis. Analysis results from BeadStudio can then be stored in Geneus.
Affymetrix GeneChip® Workflow Data Management
Geneus enables end-to-end data management and sample tracking for Affymetrix GeneChip® workflows for a range of applications. Geneus is certified GeneChip-compatible, providing a seamless integration to the GeneChip Operating System (GCOS) and the Affymetrix GeneChip Command Console (AGCC). GenoLogics provides support for both operating systems and can ease your transition from GCOS to AGCC.
Real-Time PCR Capabilities
Geneus manages samples and collects results end-to-end for Real-Time PCR workflows. The seamless integration to the TaqMan® ABI 7900 HT instrument for Real-Time PCR and SNP applications automatically generates an SDS import file with all the sample and detector information. Additionally, for SNP genotyping assays, Geneus captures the data from the ABI SDS software so that SNP results can be stored, viewed and easily accessed.
Quality Control Capabilities
Geneus QC features allow you to accelerate go/no-go decisions, viewing all QC data for multiple samples on a single screen. Easily track and set pass/fail quality flags and visualize your QC data. Geneus is flexible so it can accommodate any QC process.
Geneus integrates to most UV spectrophotometers. Data is captured and processed with minimal effort, concentrations and defined metrics are visualized quickly and the data can be flagged as pass/fail based on QC criteria. Researchers can quickly access and view nucleic acid concentration and quality metrics to move samples that pass QC criteria to subsequent steps.
Agilent BioAnalyzer Integration
Geneus also integrates with the Agilent 2100 BioAnalyzer capturing the data for secure storage and visualization of key BioAnalyzer quality metrics on a per sample basis. With BioAnalyzer data in Geneus you can access, interpret and visualize results to streamline quality assessment.
