Only when clinics and research laboratories can work closely together, will the movement of scientific discoveries accelerate into the clinic and clinical findings more rapidly fuel rsearch directions. Accelerating the translation of research discoveries will mean earlier detection of disease, increased accuracy of diagnosis and better prognosis for disease-affected patients.
