GenoLogics recognizes the significance of biospecimen repositories with well annotated clinical information to biomedical research. The Biomedical Informatics Product Suite is an integrated solution to track observational studies, collect patient data at remote sites, request samples and provide biorepository specimen and clinical annotations management.

The Biomedical Informatics solution consists of the following five modules:

1. BioVault is a biospecimen management system that handles sample and freezer management, with volume and aliquot tracking, access tracking and configuration options.
2. BioChronicle is a management system that aggregates clinical annotations from multiple data sources including hospital information systems, electronic medical records, clinical trials management systems, biobanking systems, electronic patient questionnaires as well as manual data entry.
3. BioQuest is a secure web portal to allow researchers access to BioChronicle to setup projects, query clinical annotations, request samples and receive clinical annotations in an open format. An approval process, whether following IRB or other mechanisms, can be automated to accept projects and/or sample requests.
4. BioSphere is a study management system that tracks enrolment, visits and study protocols for observational studies. BioSphere will allow for scheduling participant visits, managing tasks, creating study correspondence and sending email reminders.
5. BioSource is an electronic patient questionnaire system that will be used by data managers at specimen collection sites for clinical / observational studies and by end patients/participants themselves. It will provide a secure web interface to enter patient and clinical information which will be stored in the BioChronicle system. BioSource will provide functionality for the management and library of forms and questions with versioning control.
